🌙 “Safe Park”: in Popivka it is planned to install autonomous lighting of the central park

This year, a park was arranged in Popivka, which the residents have been waiting for for a long time. There were benches, gazebos, an orderly greenroom. People already come here to relax, meet with neighbors, spend time with children.

But with the onset of darkness, the park practicallyperforms its function. Insufficient lighting limits the ability to usethe equipped area in the evening, and during power outages the issue of accessibility of public spaces becomes even more acute.

💡 The enterprising inhabitants of the village of Popovka took up the next stage of the arrangement of the park.Within the framework of the “Safe Park” project, it is planned to install five autonomous lighting points based on solar LED lights.

To do this, buy solar lamps with zopores. The lights will charge during the day from solar energy and illuminatethe territory in the evening, working regardless of the connection to the mains.

Five lighting points should provide basic lighting of key areas of the park, make approaches to benches and gazebos more comfortable, and facilitate movement around the area after sunset.

👥 It is expected that 600 residents of Popivka will benefit from the project.First of all, these are children, teenagers, young people, parents with children and older people who use the park forrecreation and meetings.

Localpartners will also be involved in the implementation. The initiative group will coordinate the procurement of equipment, coordination andcontrol of works, and the Natalya Rural Military Administration will help with the installation and installation of lanterns, supports and necessary equipment.

For Popivka, lighting will become the finalmethod of arranging a new public space. Benches and gazebos create a meeting place, and autonomous lights should help residents use it after dark, regardless of power outages.
