International Charitable Foundation “Alliance of Public Health”

Among the 14 supported initiatives, we continue to talk about projects that create a safe and friendly environment for children in communities.
The project provides for the arrangement of a new playground on the territory of a local preschool educational institution, where about 88 children can be accommodated. The playing area will consist of swings, slides and other elements for outdoor games and development.
This is a continuation of the comprehensive support of the institution: The institution is already partially equipped thanks to the preliminary support of the IfF “Alliance of Public Health” - the shelter received the first furniture https://www.facebook.com/share/p/17SethL12E/
And also now implements the initiative to complete the arrangement of a safe and comfortable shelter for preschoolers https://www.facebook.com/share/p/17KmS8pPJJ/
During the occupation, the Vilkhiv community was destroyed, and the children's spaces were destroyed or became unusable. Today, children do not actually have a safe place to play and socialize - they spend most of their time indoors. This limits their physical development, communication opportunities and psychological recovery. Despite the war, we must create the conditions in which childhood continues: with a space of joy, play and development.
So the arrangement of the site is about:
It would seem that such projects should be implemented by local authorities. Today, however, communities face many challenges: from the restoration of housing and infrastructure to the arrangement of shelters.
That is why it is important to support each other and jointly strengthen the capacity of communities by any possible steps.
Within the project:
All equipment will be selected taking into account safety standards, durability and the needs of children.
The project implements Local Initiatives Agencyon the initiative of the group “Parents of Kutuzivka — Children”, which includes teachers, active residents, representatives of local self-government and public organizations. Many of them have survived the occupation and are well aware of how important it is to create the conditions for a safe childhood.
Together we form a comfortable environment.
The Ministries are implemented within the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Communities through the Support of Communities Initiatives” approach with the financial support of the international humanitarian organization HEKS/EPER (Switzerland) in coordination with Alliance for Public Health
