🏃 Vyshneve will update the sports ground: new opportunities for movement throughout life
In the village of Vishneve there is a place where regularlycome children, young people, adults and older people. The park near the rural club remains a focal point of local life, and the sports ground continues to operate despite the wear and tear of some simulators and damage left by the war.
Residents continue to use the availablefacilities, because the ability to move, exercise andspend time in the fresh air is of particular importance for everydaywell-being. At the same time, the site lacks diversity so that everyone can find activities according to their age and physical capabilities.
The initiative group of residents of the villageVishneve undertook the renovation of the sports space.Within the framework of the project “Upgrading the sports ground on the territory of the park in the village of Vyshnev”, it is planned to purchase seven units of playing and sports equipment of Ukrainian production.
🛝 For children it is provided:
🌿 Swing “Stork's Nest” forjoint games and active leisure.
🏖️ Sandbox with a roof, which will protect children from the sun and precipitation during the game.
⚖️ Rocker balancer for developingcoordination of movements and a sense of balance.
🌉 Children's bridge “Gnome”, whichwill complement the play area.
💪 For youth and adultstwo outdoor simulators will be installed:“Treadmill” for cardio training andmaintaining endurance and “Butterfly” for performing the chest press. Alsothe playground will be complemented by a street frame for squats, designed for strength andfunctional exercises.
Diverse equipment will make it possibleto organize active leisure for different age groups in one territory. Children will have more opportunities for outdoor games, and adults will be able to regularly exercise in the fresh air.
👥 According to the application, the implementation of the project is expected to benefit 356 people, including residents of Vyshneve and the neighboring village of Zatyshnoe, 98 internally displaced persons, children, adults and the elderly. The territory of the park has a barrier-free approach thatfacilitates access for people in wheel chairs and parents with strollers.
The initiative is led by people who already haveexperience of working together. Residents organize workshops, take care of the territorypark near the club and are ready on their own to prepare a place for installationequipment, help with unloading and cleaning after installation. Starostat will contribute to organizational work and communication with residents.
Particular attention is paid to safety:about 100 meters from the site is the simplest shelter, which you can go to during an air alarm.
For locals, upgrading the sports ground will mean more opportunities to stay active, spend time together and maintain links between generations. It is these accessible public spaces that help to maintain the usual rhythm of life and strengthenactivity within the community. 🧡

The project is implemented by the NGO “Agency of Local Initiatives” on the initiative of the residents of the community and the support of the local authorities. The Ministries are implemented within the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Communities through the “Support for Community Initiatives” approach with financial support from the international humanitarian organization HEKS/EPER (Switzerland) in coordination with the IfF “Public Health Alliance “and with the financial support of Act Alliance.
