During martial law, you can apply for a pension at any Pension Fund of Ukraine service centre, regardless of the region.

Documents required:

  • A passport.
  • A taxpayer identification number.
  • Documents confirming your pension insurance record: an employment record book, a diploma for full-time education, a military ID or other documents.
  • A salary certificate for 60 consecutive months before 30 June 2000, if you wish to provide one.
  • Bank account details.
  • An internally displaced person registration certificate, if applicable.
  • Documents confirming any special status.
  • A photograph for the pension certificate.
  • A marriage certificate if your surname has changed.
If the authorised bank cannot pay a pension or financial assistance, the funds must be transferred through another authorised bank.

This happens automatically; there is no need to open a special bank account. To receive your pension or other assistance, visit any Oschadbank branch with your passport and taxpayer identification certificate.

If you temporarily change your actual place of residence, you can receive your pension and other payments by transfer through Oschadbank or at a Ukrposhta branch. Notify the Pension Fund or social protection authority.

When requesting payments at another address, provide:
  • Your surname, first name and patronymic.
  • The address where you received your pension or assistance before March 2022.
  • Your passport details.
  • Your telephone number.
  • Your preferred payment method.
  • Your new delivery address or the postcode of the Ukrposhta branch.
  • The transfer code from the SMS message if you receive your pension by postal transfer.
If you have not decided where to receive payments and want to collect them at any available Ukrposhta branch, tell the operator.
